Castrejon is a physics major at UCLA, helping us through her federal work-study program.  The use of microcontroller prototyping boards such as Arduino is replacing the more expensive, more specialized educational data collection hardware products that we have been using since our first day of business.  First-year physics students program Arduino or Arduino-compatible boards to run experiments that hit all of the target concepts that they need to learn.  So, if universities can make this work, then maybe we can make such a thing work for middle and high school science classes too.  Castrejon and Bubba are finding out for us.  Cue the Pink Panther investigation background music!
